The funniest day of my life started with my car catching on fire.

Seriously.

The car was on fire... something happenned with the muffler and it caught fire. I only found this out because someone pulled up beside me and mouthed "Your car is on fire." How does one respond to that? I mouthed "Thank you" and pulled over. I get out... look and see that my really is on fire... chuckle, step away and call my daddy. As I am waiting for him a man pulls over, gets out of his truck and is carrying a water bottle. He leans down shakes the bottle at the flaming car muffler while smoking. Seriously. So... we see that there is still another fire going... this is on some tubing line and is burning across the axle of the car. We then decide to throw snowballs at that to put it out. Seriously. It goes out and i begin to figure out what to do.

The boring parts omitted... my insurance company is going to pay for the towing and a rental car. the only rental I could get? A purple 2005 PT Cruiser convertable. In Illinois in the winter.

Seriously.

In the most recent episode of CSI... there is a very special actress playing the role of the victims friend. I was watching the doe-eyed brunette talk when I was physically shaken. She should not be making sense and shooting very well.

That is right... Summer Glau, best known to everyone cool as River Tam, was on TV not in something related to Firefly.

So... Yeah... I have been having 'church issues' let's say. A lot of bitching. Some grounded... but it gets out of control and out of focus.

One of my complaints was a lack of direct application from the pulpit. The sermons were.. general and not helpful to the older Christian. Well.. today was spiritual battles... which I feel I am currently in. So... it was really good. And applied... I really wanted to go up for prayer but i didnt due to... eh excuses and people.

So... I'm going up for prayer here. Sure I dont update much... but I need prayer for strength. I have been describing myself as weary a lot lately. I think its because I keep trying to fight the fight alone. Between work, family, my parents, my future and church... I just feel really attacked by both God's reality and Satan's aarows.

Please pray for me for strength in battle but also to realize where my strength lies. Also... VICTORY!

Ok.. .and my other minor complaint was musically. I was feel rutted. Everything was very simial. And then our music pastor whips out a special music with him on the piano singing in falsetto. Yeah... I thanked him for pushing himself and doing it well. He can do it.

So... yeah. i shut up for a while today.

that was a week.... The easy idea of just organizing some songs and prayer time ended up in a bundle of stress called "Aaron performing with an accoustic for the first time in front of church"

It went well enough... I am my own worse critic anyway.

That does not jive well with a shift change week in which I work 6 12 hour nights over the course of 7 days. PLus.. the tree came down... whilest I was attempting sleep.

I do have a meeting this morning about another position. Maybe days???? Doing things I am qualified to do???? would that be too much to expect... BUT... I wouldn't be able to have me week days off.

Yeah.. So I was able to show some raw emotion today.

J___ and E____ let alone one_of_3beans and johnny_reb got to see the not-too-pretty side of third shift work plus early and long church service. So.. yeah I went off about a 20 minute wait... but I had been up over 20 hours and it appeared no end was in sight. There was no cursing... I guess that is a plus.

Church was good and N_____ went on vacation which he will enjoy. Also, I got a good amount of sleep and the public fight over waiting ended with wifey, aka chilliemander, and I laughing about how we fight over food a lot.

All's well... now onto that email... man I really don't want to reply to the parents.
